On 10 January 2025, Royal Group Phnom Penh SEZ Plc. (PPSP) donated USD 100,000 to the Khmer Artists Association (KAA). This marks the company's first donation in a planned five-year commitment to the Association.
The event, held at KAA's head office and attended by representatives from both PPSP and KAA, highlighted the strong collaboration between the private sector and the artistic community in fostering Cambodia's rich cultural heritage. It reinforced our commitment to preserving and advancing Khmer artistry, a cornerstone of Cambodia's cultural and historical identity.
The activities of KAA extend beyond the preservation and development of Khmer arts. They also include initiatives aimed at education and raising awareness to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and drug use, promoting environmental care and conservation, encouraging support for the Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospitals Foundation, and collaborating with the Royal Government of Cambodia on various events. We are deeply proud to contribute to and support these meaningful efforts.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the donation check to KAA representative and an appreciation letter to PPSP. Through this contribution, we aim to inspire other organizations and individuals to support the enrichment of Cambodian culture, particularly by contributing to the meaningful initiatives of the Khmer Artists Association.
